This guided tour in the heart of Paris will immerse you in the medieval history of the city by visiting three imposing monuments that testifies the Gothic architecture in Paris: Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte Chapelle and Conciergerie.
You will be welcomed by the guide at our meeting point, next to the equestrian statue of Charlemagne in the Parvis (courtyard) of Notre Dame Cathedral.
The tour begins with a guided tour inside and outside of this majestic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary. You will be surprised by its huge rose windows, stained glass windows and all the richness of the religious art that it concentrates.
The visit continues in the Palace of the City, first residence of the French kings where is situated the Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie. First, you will discover the Holy Chapel, this beautiful Gothic chapel that King Louis IX had built to house the relics of the Passion of Christ. You will marvel at the beauty of the largest collection of stained glass windows in the world.
Our guided tour continues at the Conciergerie, this splendid medieval palace that has become a prison during the French Revolution. The Conciergerie saw illustrious prisoners as Queen Marie-Antoinette and the great leaders of the Revolution like Danton and Robespierre.
