Lisieux, in the footsteps of St Thérèse in Lisieux

This tour we created for you who dreams of going on pilgrimage in the footsteps of Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus and the Sacred Face, known as Santa Teresa de Lisieux. Thanks to Saint Teresa and her parents, Saints Louis and Zelia, Lisieux has become France's second sanctuary city and one of the most important pilgrimage places in Europe.

How will our day be organized?

We will leave Paris by train in the morning. Arriving in Lisieux, we will do a walking tour going through the places frequented by Teresa. Among them we will visit the Lisieux Basilica, a sanctuary built to convey the Teresian message and the crypt, fully decorated with mosaics, where are the relics of the parents of St. Teresa, St. Louis and St. Zelia. Then, we go to the city center to visit the old convent, whose chapel preserves the relics of Santa Teresa and the small museum that houses objects and photos that tell the story of the saint.

We will still visit St. Peter's Cathedral, former parish frequented by Teresa and, lastly, we will go to the Buissonnets, the house where Teresa and her family lived.
