The cradle of the Renaissance in France
Join us in a tour around the Loire Valley. Discover two of the most famous Castles of the Loire Valley: Chambord, in the heart of one of the largest forests in Europe and Chenonceau built on the Cher River. Immerse yourself in Renaissance times and be guided by these splendid estates of the court of the kings of France.
Chambord Castle is the largest of the Loire valley castles, surrounded by a hunting park. It was King François I, who led the building in the 16th century. Discover the incredible "double-helix staircase" depicting the tree of life in the Middle Ages and its large panoramic terrace with its monumental chimneys overlooking the park.
Then we will visit the Chenonceau castle, dubbed "The castle of the ladies", built in the sixteenth century, and enriched over time by different feminine personalities of the French aristocracy, such as Diana de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici. Today it is the testimony of the refined French lifestyle: rooms furnished and decorated with flowers, tapestries and paintings of the time, incredible kitchens equipped on the pillars of the bridge.
