This guided tour carry you in the Orsay Museum, situated on the left bank of the Seine River, opposite to the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Garden. The museum is located in an old railway station built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition.

You will see that this museum reunites works from the Western art dating from 1848 to 1914. Famous paintings are exhibited alongside very-known sculptures, decorative objects, photography exhibition and architectural drawings, testimonies of the incredible vitality of the artistic creation of an era that saw the birth of the Realism, impressionism, symbolism, pictorialism and others.

We will show you masterpieces of the greatest artists, such as Millet, Courbet, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne, Rodin, Gauguin, Van Gogh and others. The most renewed artists of the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century are represented here.

Your expert guide will show you renowned masterpieces like "Lunch on the grass"  and "Olympia" by Edouard Manet; "The dancer of 14 years" by Degas; "A burial at Ornans" and "The atelier of the Painter" by Courbet; five pictures of the series Monet's "Cathedrals of Rouen" and Renoir's "The Dance of the Galette" and others.
