Dive into the universe of Claude Monet's nympheas
Come and participate in this guided tour at the Orangerie Museum to unravel the mysteries of Claude Monet's splendid Nympheas.
The "Orangerie" of the Tuilerie Parc lost its original purpose as a storage place for plants and was transformed into a beautiful museum to house works of Impressionism to Modern Art.
On this guided tour you will see the Claude Monet Museum where we can appreciate the monumental "Water Lilies" or "Nympheas". Eight great compositions of the Nympheas, presented in two large rooms, lead you to dive into the water garden of the artist in Giverny.
The second part of the museum is devoted to the collection of the great merchant and art collector, Paul Guillaume. With your expert tour guide you will appreciate works by great masters of painting such as Renoir, Cézanne, Modigliani, Picasso, Matisse, Soutine, Henri Rousseau among others.
This priceless private collection allows us to understand the pictorial innovations of modern art.
