The Opera Garnier was built between 1861 and 1875 from the design of the architect Charles Garnier. The building was commissioned by Napoleon III, within the capital's urban renovation program led by Baron Haussmann.

We will begin the guided tour outside to get to know the external architecture of the Opera Garnier. Upon entering, we continue our visit by the roundabout of subscribers, former reception point for the prestigious guests of the opera. You will meet Charles Garnier, the architect who designed this building, climb the sumptuous marble staircase, admire beautiful rooms and the Great room whose ceiling was painted by the famous painter Marc Chagall.
